In that Mukesh Ambani promoted Reliance Industries has been ranked at 25th place. The list is followed by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation ( ONGC) at 26thrd place. National Thermal Power Corporation at 73rd place, Bharat Petroleum Corporation at 97th rank, Hindustan Petroleum corporation is at 147th place. GAIL at 148thth place. Initially Tsunami warnings issued to New Zealand, Japan, Hawaii but later it withdrawn the warning. It is feared that more than 300 peoples killed by the Tsunami created by the quake in the island. The name of the world’s largest residential tower as “Pentominium” whose name is derived from two words: Penthouse and condominium. Pentominium will contain 124 floors. After this construction it will be the world’s tallest man made structure and second tallest building in the world next to Burj Dubai, which is also located in Dubai. Total area for build up for this tower will be 170,000 square meters and the construction duration for this tower will take up to 48 months as per the company statement. The Pentominum will be the tallest all residential building in the world after the work is completed and it also currently has the highest projected height of any residential building under construction.



Forbes has recently released world’s most powerful women’s list. In that Germany chancellor Angela Merkel tops the list follow by Sheila C. Bair, Chairman of Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Third place goes to Chairman and chief executive of PepsiCo, Indra K. Nooyi. The rank is given on the basis of job title and past career accomplishment, Visibility by press as well as the amount of money the women controls. So the Germany’s chancellor continues to rank no 1 for fourth consecutive years. U.S Hilary Clinton ranked as 36th. Three women are represented from India.
